Out of Town <1:55 PM CST - schu>
I will be out of town most of next week on a pseudo vacation.  I'm helping a friend move and she just so happens to be moving near Chicago so I'll probably be checking into jobs and apartments all next week while helping her move.  I may be back by Thursday or Friday next week depending on how things go.  Please feel free to send in any news you want posted and I'll post it with the next update.

No Fear and Xenic sent word that screenshots of the next GTA have been posted on IGN.  You can check out the shots and short update at ps2.ign.com/news/20306.html.  I'll just be happy when they give it a name :).

• <miracle maker> sent word that v1.12 of Miracle Maker 2 is now available.  MM2 is an mission editor for GTA2 and you can get if from www.miraclemaker.tsx.org.
• Tiffany has updated her Unofficial GTA Shrine with new cars, new mugshots, and all of the broken car links have been fixed.  Check it all out at www.hippietiff.com.
• The GTA Traffic Jam now features a message board, get over to www.gtaxtreme.net/trafficjam for details. 

  
GTA Hawaii Update <7:00 PM CST - schu>
I've received a few new GTA Hawaii updates since the last update.  The updates are in the order they came in so the newest update is last and may adjust the earlier updates.  Check out the GTA World 2k or the GTA Hawaii site for more details.

"I have received a large amount of responses for making buildings for GTA Hawaii. This confused me, the ferry is probably much more easier to make, yet no one wants to make it. And we still need textures makers. To me, this makes no sense.

Also, contributions are going well.  I've received a playground and a gas station from Roland van Berkel, a '63 Chevrolet Corvette from Sam Swales, and some other good stuff that we can't use, because it's made for the wrong style file. Sorry guys, maybe you can sort them out, so we can use your stuff in the style003.g24 file.

Azz, Illness & Exams <10:50 PM CST - schu>
Azz asked that I inform everyone that he is ill again with another kidney infection so he is not updating at the moment.  In addition to that Azz haz exams coming up in a week, this coupled with the JH4C's phone troubles means that "car updates could be a long time coming and any news posts may be few and far between for awhile."  In four weeks Azz will be home for the summer and that should allow for more time to attend to GTAzz assuming his health improves.  I wish Azz the best and hope his health improves in time for exams.  Please take it easy on him until he gets some free time to get everything in order.

The guys working on the GTA Hawaii project are looking for a few buildings for their map, perhaps you can help them out:

• university and college (1 of each)
• Gas stations about 10
• Playgrounds
• Bus Depots
• Town Hall
• Shopping center
• Construction area (if possible?)

Site Updates <10:50 PM CST - schu>
The site will not be updated again until Monday or Tuesday of next week because I have some family business to attend to.  This sort of came up suddenly but I anticipate being back at my computer on Monday night or Tuesday morning depending on how things go.  Assuming the site is back up by then I'll resume updates as per usual.  Sorry for all the delays and problems lately but I just graduated and I have to find a job, an apartment, and furniture by August which means I'll probably be spending a lot of time driving back and forth on top of all that I have this family stuff I have to work out.  Anyway, keep on sending the updates and I'll keep posting them.  Hopefully you'll be able to read this by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.  Just an FYI, if I ever leave the GTA scene, which I currently have no plans on doing, you'll hear it from me and not a "Site Suspended" message.  Assuming I don't die or win the lottery I'll keep doing this as long as someone's interested in reading it.  One final nugget of information... I just received word that some new GTA information should be coming down the pipe shortly.  I'm not sure what it is in regards to because the message was rather vague, but anything new on GTA is better than nothing at all.

Grand Tuckman Association RIP <11:50 PM CST - schu>
TheTuckman is closing the Grand Tuckman Association, here is the announcement on its closure:

More computer problems... The last install didn't hold like I had hoped but this round seems a little more stable.  I just hope it doesn't puke when I start working toward a quad boot system.  After I get around to installing Linux, BeOS, and Win2k.
