XBox Code Conversion
<7:22 PM CST - schu>
Apparently the PS2 cheat codes translate nicely to the XBox, assuming
you have the legend that is. The following was posted on IGN
and was originally submitted by masterchief. I have no way to test
this so I can't say if it works or not:
| PS2 |
XBox |
| X |
A |
| Square |
X |
| Circle |
B |
| Triangle |
Y |
| L1 |
Left
Trigger |
| L2 |
White |
| R1 |
Right
Trigger |
| R2 |
Black |
The
D-Pad directions are the same. |

GTA
EasterEgg In Max Payne 2
<7:22 PM CST - schu>
This update may contain a spoiler, you have been warned (it has been changed
to light gray to make it more difficult to read accidentally). The
following was sent in by Sag:
"Hey,
Just finished Max Payne 2 for the third time (there's a secret
ending on the hardest difficulty) and found out about something neat
early in the game. I'll try to keep it as spoiler free as possible :-)
In
the last chapter of Part 1 (Chapter 7 : The Million Dollar Question),
there are a bunch of TVs that usually just have static on them. After
you kill the "end boss", instead of hopping on the elevator,
go back to the last room with a TV and use it. A little clip will
come up showing a GTA2 style driveby, top down view, and characters
that look like they're out of GTA2."
Manhunt Hands-On
<7:22 PM CST - schu>
GameSpot posted a new hands-on
article giving us another glimpse into the premise behind Manhunt.
If you haven't read it already, IGN also posted a similar article
a week back.
Manhunt
In Your Ear
<7:22 PM CST - schu>
IGN is reporting
that Manhunt will feature support for the PS2's USB headset. The
headset support will let you listen into comments that "The Director"
makes to James Earl Cash throughout the game. You'll have to be
careful however because the "Hunters" in the game will also
make use the headset and will be able to pinpoint Cash's position if you
make any loud noises into the mic. You can of course always turn
the mic volume down to avoid any mishaps, but it's an awesome concept
nonetheless. The headset will run $30 and can be used with other
games that support it. Thanks to StarvingRussian.
