Our main mission is to inform
gamers about Grand Theft Auto through up to date news, reviews, and information.
I found very few web sites about GTA, and even fewer in English, so I and
my friends decided to change this. GOURANGA! is typically updated
once a day, usually around 1 AM central standard time.
| How can I get the
most out of GOURANGA!? |
GOURANGA! looks best in a resolution
of 800 x 600, in 16 bit color. The Arial and Verdana fonts
are used primarily so having them will also improve the overall look of
the site. Although, I'm almost positive that these fonts come standard
with Windows 95, so as long as you have donated to Bill's monopoly machine
you should be getting the full GOURANGA! effect. I've tested the
site on both Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 4 and it looks pretty much
the same on either, so browser preference is up to you.
| What the hell does
GOURANGA mean? |
The word GOURANGA appears in
the game after you run over an entire line of Hare Krishnas at a high rate
of speed. I first did this totally by mistake, but soon after it
became somewhat of a mission to try and run over them every time I played.
I have received a few messages regarding this but DMA's translation of
the word is "be happy."

GOURANGA! better? |
Submitting news is probably
the single best way to help make GOURANGA! better. Reviews, tips,
links, general GTA information, and files are accepted as well. However
we do ask that you please get permission before sending any large files.
One more thing to keep in mind when you submit anything that might be posted
is that I will link your name to your webpage if you include the url along
with your e-mail. I can also link your e-mail address with your name,
but you must specify it in the e-mail. Just put a "PS - please link
my address" or something of that sort, in your e-mail.
